The purpose of the Film Series is to provide an opportunity to view these issues and begin conversations within Rutgers and Newark that will strengthen and educate our communities. The film series consists of 6 films, screening three films per semester for the academic year. With each session centered around a new theme that showcase varying city concerns. From Food Scarcity and Immigration to Homelessness, Violence, and Environmental Policy the film series is a wonderful way for individuals to discuss community issues.
